The story of Maule dates back to an noble clan originating from the windy Scottish Highlands, crowned with the title Earl of Panmure in 1646. Having braved Scotland's harsh nature and turbulent history for centuries, the Maule clan has become a symbol of unshakeable resilience and uncompromising quality.
The winged, fire-breathing dragon (Wyvern) on our coat of arms represents not only physical strength but also inner courage. The ancient Latin motto etched onto our shield is the philosophy of our brand:

WHERE OUR DESIGNS ARE BORN
Our designs draw inspiration from the historic Panmure House, built by the clan in the 17th century and still standing in all its grandeur in the heart of Edinburgh today. This structure, which hosted the renowned economist Adam Smith, symbolizes the unity of intellectual depth and timeless elegance.
The robustness of traditional Scottish tailoring and the intellectual and modern style of Edinburgh's streets find a perfect balance in Maule collections.
